OK peeps! New Adventure coming up…this family is headed for France in 3 weeks! You know what that means? New blogs! Yippee! And pictures!
Off to a good start! The lawn tractor is broke again (should I mention the brand? Hello, legal? ). So I’m standing in knee high grass as the neighbours circulate a petition and burn me in effigie (do they have a burning permit I wonder). I’m wondering if it’ll get fixed before I leave for 3 weeks. I’d get a contractor to do it… but as an out-of-towner they see me as an expensive trip compared to the city lots, and charge me corporate rates. Meh. I’m getting to like the disheveled lawn look. Very organic.
Other than that. .I’m on track. Passports updated, plane tickets purchased, cleared out a staging area for deploying suitcases, camera gear area staked out, multiple lists created and updated, neighborhood watch activated, security cameras turned on and the hounds are hungry!
Erin is doing her part by fleeing. She knows better than to get in between me and my mission of obsessive organisation. San Fran, Kingston, Vancouver, Toronto, …ABC (Anywhere but Here).
Can’t wait for the next adventure to begin! What can possibly go wrong?
