I don`t see my family much but I sure enjoy the little time I have with them. And since I\u2019m home when everyone else is gone, I\u2019m getting stuff done that I don\u2019t normally have time for. Like getting ready for winter. Normally I come home, have dinner, put the kids to bed and the darkness prevents much outdoor work. But now I get up in the morning and have several hours to do yardwork.<\/p>\n<p>That`s important since I received, last Saturday, my order of 450 plants for my shoreline restoration project. Why it had to happen when I have the least amount of time to do it is beyond me, but, in reality, it`s probably better now than somewhen else. Who wants to plant in the dark?<\/p>\n<p>My wife calls me most night before the children`s bedtime and tells the children to say goodnight to their \u2018biological dad\u2019. Hopefully they won\u2019t get too accustomed to my absenteeism.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I`ve adapted now to the evening shift.
